The Crag Hauler 40 is a rugged, durable, haul bag-inspired backpack that stands on its own and has the ability to go anywhere. Designed for best-in-class durability with haul bag canvas, reinforced ripstop nylon, and bombproof YKK® zippers. The nylon roll-top closure has an additional PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) treatment to make the pack water resistant. Ease of use and versatility are key here, like the wide-opening, funnel-shaped roll-top flap that folds down quickly and the top closure that doubles as a rope attachment.

For more stable carrying, side compression straps double as rope stabilizers or can be hidden into the frame when not in use for a sleeker look. The Crag Hauler 40 offers plenty of volume to hold all your gear, while the self-contained design also means you can stuff gear straight in when you're in a hurry. The large, full-length J-shaped front zipper ensures easy access right to the bottom of the pack. And there's a spacious front compartment for your guidebook, lunch, whistle, etc., a secure mesh pocket for valuables or your phone, plus internal gear stash loops for items you want to be able to find quickly. The dual-density, padded frame back panel ensures optimal comfort, so you won't feel rocks or friends digging into your back. And padded shoulder straps with adjustable load lifters and padded hip belt ensure comfortable and fully adjustable carrying.
