The Alien 4.0 system is mounted on a protective Pebax tongue panel and compresses into the instep as it is tightened.

The Speed ??Lock Lite system is a simple and effective system that uses a Dyneema® which integrates the ski/walk mechanism with the cuff, allowing quick and efficient one-action transitions. Flipping the lever up opens the cuff and engages walk mode, while locking it closes the cuff and sets ski mode. Set it and forget it: once the cable is adjusted to the proper length, simply switch between ski and hike modes in one motion.
