The 9.5 Alpine Core Protect Dry single rope is designed for alpine climbing and mountaineering, offering superior cut resistance without compromising the standards of a dynamic climbing rope.
Its name, Core Protect, is due to its unique construction: it incorporates an additional aramid sleeve between the polyamide outer sleeve and the core. This design effectively protects the rope against sharp edges of rocks and metal. In the event of a fall, the aramid cover unfolds thanks to its extra-long construction, allowing the rope to behave with the same dynamism as any other rope from the brand.
Despite this added protection, the manageability and abrasion resistance are maintained, but with significantly higher cut resistance. It is a versatile rope, ideal for mountaineering, single or multi-pitch climbing and ice climbing.
