POMOCA's R&D department works hard to make your life easier. Preparing a self-adhesive ski skin can be time-consuming and requires specific know-how. POMOCA has developed the universal, lightweight and easy-to-apply ready2climb concept, which allows you to prepare your skin, without special tools, in just 2 minutes. Using the new Click Lock, the skin can be fitted to any ski. For this system, POMOCA offers a complete list of skis on the market, so that you can find the self-adhesive skin best suited to your needs.
Technologies:
- SSL: Thanks to thinner layers, POMOCA has managed to lighten its classic SAFER SKIN membrane. SAFER SKIN LIGHT (SSL) is 12% lighter - 150 g/m2. SSL makes a pair of leathers approximately 60-75g lighter while maintaining 100% waterproofness.
- EVER DRY 3.0: In 2015, POMOCA eliminated all PFOA treatments from its production. But POMOCA did not want to settle for this first step and has developed the first completely perfluorocarbon (PFC)-free treatment, EverDry 3.0. With this change, POMOCA is ahead of the most demanding national regulations on textile treatment and is leading the way towards eco-friendly leather. Since 2020, all POMOCA leathers are PFC FREE!
- GLIDE PRO: POMOCA has developed a new GLIDE treatment. The GLIDE PRO skins, while retaining the same application technology, have been developed with a new, high-quality product that offers exceptional additional glide, essential for those competing at a high level.
- Edge Grip: Edge Grip is POMOCA's innovative bi-component velour technology, designed for optimal performance. Using a unique combination of fibers that stick on the sides and slide in the center, it provides a perfect balance between grip and glide. This synergy offers unrivaled traction and glide, adapted to demanding terrain and serious mountain expeditions.
