The ABSORBICA-I 150 is a simple lanyard, with a compact energy absorber, designed for progression along a horizontal safety line (rope or cable) or on a lifting platform, without fractionation step. It works with users weighing between 60 and 140 kg. It allows several modes of connection to the harness and can support different types of connectors.
Features:- Designed to progress along a horizontal safety line (rope or cable) or an elevating platform, without crossing subdivisions.
- Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:
- Progressive tearing of the energy absorber tape that limits the shock force supported by the user.
- It works with users weighing between 60 and 140 kg (1).
- Designed for use with a maximum length, including connectors, of:
- 200 cm within the framework of the CE EN 355 standard.
- 183 cm (6 feet) within the framework of the ANSI Z359.13 standard.
- Minimum volume:
- Very compact design of the energy absorber so as not to disturb the user during your progression.
- Elastic tape so as not to hinder progression.
- Resistant textile cover, with simplified opening system, to protect the energy absorber from abrasion and splashes, while allowing periodic inspections of the absorber.
- Two installation options on the harness depending on use:
- Frequent connections/disconnections : with a carabiner fixed in the correct position using the STRING fastening accessory (included with the lanyard).
- Almost permanent connection: with a ring with RING OPEN closure whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning.
- Two possibilities of connectors at the tip of the lanyard: carabiner or large opening connector MGO OPEN.
- Certifications: - CE EN 355 (meets the requirements of the RFU PPE-R/11.074). - ANSI Z359.13, 12 ft. FF. - CSA Z259.11-17. - Complies with Japanese fall protection regulations. - GB/T 24538-2009: type II. Certifications depending on the connectors used. More information in the technical sheet.
