The ABSORBICA-Y TIE-BACK is a double lanyard with integrated intermediate forwarding rings and compact energy absorber. It is designed for vertical progression through very large structures with passage through subdivisions. It works with users between 60 and 140 kg. The TIE-BACK system allows surrounding structures of large sections. The straps incorporate elastics so as not to hinder progression.

• TIE-BACK intermediate forwarding rings on the lanyard that allow connection to structures with very large sections. In the event of a rescue, the rescuer can also easily access these rings, even if the person is suspended from their lanyard after the fall.
• Absorbs energy in case of fall:
  • Progressive tearing of the energy absorber tape that limits the shock force supported by the user.
  • It works with users weighing between 60 and 140 kg ( 1).
• Designed for use with a maximum length, including connectors, of:
  • 200 cm within the framework of the CE EN 355 standard.
  • 183 cm (6 feet) within the framework of the ANSI Z359.13 standard.
• Minimum volume
• Very compact design of the energy absorber so as not to disturb the user during their progression.
  • Ribbons with elastics so as not to hinder progression.
• Resistant textile cover, with simplified opening system, to protect the energy absorber from abrasion and splashes, while allowing periodic inspections of the absorber.
• Two installation options on the harness depending on use:
  • Frequent connection/disconnection: with a carabiner secured in the correct position using the STRING attachment accessory (included with the lanyard) or with a MICRO SWIVEL swivel to prevent entanglement.
  • Almost permanent connection: with a ring with RING OPEN closure whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning or with a SWIVEL OPEN swivel to avoid entanglements.
