Made entirely from PE foam scraps recovered and remodelled from our mat production, we reduce our ecological footprint and create a fun, unique and extremely resistant product. Its designed contours provide a great feeling of flexibility and protect from the cold. Chipper is an affordable, eco-friendly and highly versatile companion for backpacking, gardening, travel, festivals, excursions and sporting events.
By recovering foam residues from the manufacture of our pads, during the first year of production we managed to avoid the generation of 8.8 tons of discarded foam and the emission of 48 tons of carbon dioxide into the air, compared to the use of virgin materials. We selected the perfect combination of salvaged remains to provide Chipper with excellent support and strength. In addition, thanks to the hexagonal nesting pattern of our Switchback™ pad, we optimize the size and weight of the package.
