The durable 175g stretch jersey fabric offers good abrasion resistance and some wind protection in gatherings or ridge lines, while the soft knit interior ensures next-to-skin comfort and efficient moisture management during the demanding approaches, crucial passes and alpine traverses. The high collar and fitted hood provide invaluable sun protection on glacier approaches or south-facing walls, and the double-layer cuffs with integrated thumb loops offer additional warmth in windswept gatherings.
With a snug fit, the Aiguille can be placed under a shell or insulating layer and fits perfectly under a harness, without bunching up or hindering access to crucial protection.
