The Alpin Tour Light from Climbing Technology is a lightweight aluminum ice axe, ideal for ski mountaineering or as support on snowy ridges. Its low weight makes it a perfect companion for ski touring outings.

This ice axe is suitable as a support ice axe on snowy terrain, for belaying on snowy descents or for progressing to the summit after leaving the skis. However, it is not designed to tackle ice steps due to the lightness of its head.
