The FR-3 EF are folding poles ideal for various outdoor activities. Perfect for enthusiasts and recommended for mountain guides, these poles are very versatile and work well for trekking, trail running, and extreme snow activities like splitboarding.
This model incorporates the Ergo Fit grip with foam extension, which provides multiple grip points, especially useful on climbs. The patented TCS (Automatic Top Click System) system on the handle allows the strap to be easily removed or adjusted with a few simple movements. The four sections of the shaft are made of aluminum. The top section attaches to the next one using Mono Lock technology. Once the height has been adjusted, this system firmly holds the two sections without the risk of vibrations.
The Wired technology allows the pole to be folded to just 37 cm. Pressing the button near the Fast Lock loosens the plasticized steel cable that runs through the sections, allowing them to be disassembled and folded. Especially for running, this optimization system is excellent during periods of inactivity, as the poles can be conveniently stored in a backpack or attached to the belt.
The carbide tip, made of tungsten carbide, offers excellent traction on various types of terrain.
