The Radical men's ski touring boot features the revolutionary Hoji Single Lock system and is an uncompromising all-rounder on both ascents and descents. Inspired by the Radical Pro, the boot combines the seemingly contradictory worlds of freedom of movement on the ascent and stiffness for the descent. In walking mode, the cuff and shell are separated from each other for efficient climbing with a 60-degree cuff rotation for unrestricted, resistance-free mobility. Its low weight of 1,520 g (size 26.5) and the flexible tongue construction made of two different high-tech synthetic materials ensure a natural, energy-saving movement when walking even on steep terrain.

The new thermo-moldable liner (optional) offers stability and comfort with a perfect fit right out of the box. With these on, you're ready to tackle long tours with many metres of climbing. Once at the top, the Radical boot becomes a robust downhiller with superior power transfer, thanks to the one-handed operation of the patented Hoji Single Lock system. Turn the lever on the ski-gate mechanism and the entire system tightens, placing the boot at an 11-degree forward lean angle. The cuff and shell combine to create a positively locking unit that transforms the revolutionary system into a totally play-free unit.

A unique feature on the market for its precision and efficiency in skiing at the highest level that was normally only seen in purebred alpine ski boots. Unlike the Radical Pro, the Radical's ski-gate mechanism is not connected to the micro-adjustable buckles and strap. Rather, these must be secured separately for the descent. They secure the foot safely and firmly, providing a flex index of 110 even on challenging downhill terrain for overall impressive downhill performance on skis.
