An ice ax synonymous with versatility, a high-level link between waterfall ice axes and more traditional ones. It is available in only one size (50 cm) and is ideal for classic and technical "fast and light" mountaineering.
The modular head of Avional, analogous to that of the X-Dream, allows two different configurations: blade-shovel and blade-hammer. The curvature of the handle, made of 7075-T6 aluminum, is designed to guarantee effective sticking in traction ice axes and excellent penetration into the snow when the ice ax is used in vertical support.
The carabiner hole in the head allows use with a leash (not included), while the X-Gyro Leash can be attached to the one at the tip. The ergonomic handle is provided with removable supports that allow all configurations: it has 2 supports, with a single lower support and without supports for walking exclusively on snow. In addition, the upper support is adjustable, and can be moved to any point on the handle depending on the mountaineer's demands.
The head of the X-Light in a shovel and hammer configuration offers an extremely comfortable ergonomic grip and does not damage the gloves thanks to the absence of teeth near the handle.
