The most advanced ice axe for snowy and glacier traverses and ski mountaineering available on the market. Made of 7075-T6 aluminium alloy like the very light Corsa, it differs from the latter by the Alleima NanoflexTM steel alloy applications in the head and reggaton: critical points that are thus much stronger and long-lasting without sacrificing lightness.
The curvature of the handle optimizes impact without reducing functionality in support and penetration in the snow. The grip on the bottom of the handle ensures a good grip. The integrated groove in the head, between the blade and the handle, allows the Corsa Strap to be attached (available separately). Not recommended for ice climbing, mixed terrain or for carving steps repeatedly. Alleima NanoflexTM is an innovative steel alloy system that is harder than a normal alloy steel; allows a significant reduction in the amount of metal used, decreasing weight while maintaining hardness.
