Your new favorite hiking shoe. The Tempest Mid is lightweight, durable, weather resistant, comfortable and stylish.
The uppers are made of split leather and durable premium synthetic textile, and are mid-cut for a little more support around the ankle. Inside the Tempest you will find the high performance Sympatex Moisture Tech® waterproof breathable lining. Unlike lower-top walking shoes, the Tempest features a glued-and-mounted construction with a full-length midsole for better underfoot support on rough terrain.
The sole Vibram™ Omnific has an aggressive pattern for excellent grip on loose, soft surfaces, and is lightweight and well-cushioned. The versatility of Tempest Mid means that it can very often fill the roles of an approach shoe and a 2-3 day trekking boot in a single extremely comfortable model.
