Maipo is non−insulated and therefore ideal for summer alpine use when highly insulated boots are often too warm, or winter mountaineering at lower altitudes with less severe temperatures. Maipo is crampon compatible and suitable for less technical winter climbs and glacier travel, as well as being ideal for scrambling, mountain walking and general summer mountaineering. Our proven FDS−3 outsole is co−molded with rubber compounds of three different densities and offers unmatched reliability and grip.
