Kovach combines our 40 years of experience in leather mountain boots with the latest technologies in soles to make a robust and extraordinarily comfortable boot. Kovach is cut higher at the ankle for additional support and is stiff enough to be used with a flexible strap crampon, making it great for year-round hike in hills and mountains.
The upper is made of selected high quality 2.6mm European leather with full gain finishes. A wide, full-length rubber band protects the upper from abrasion and our exclusive Dry-Line & reg; lining system is fully waterproof and has superior moisture vapor transfer performance to help maintain dry feet in any weather.
The sole Vibram & reg; Fuora Evo is durable and has a deep lug tread pattern for great traction in all conditions. One Kovach feature worth emphasizing is our new midsole which has a soft, cushioned EVA upper surface and greatly improves underfoot comfort. This, combined with our new outsole platform with an additional shock absorbing foam pad under the heel, and improved torsional stability will keep your feet happy and walking longer.
