The Pinch is an innovative belay device with assisted locking, designed to offer a superior experience both in sport climbing and on multi-pitch routes. Its design allows it to be attached directly to the harness's belly ring, providing a lower, closer-to-body position. This feature significantly improves the control of the braking rope and allows you to give 20 to 30 cm more rope at once, facilitating a smoother splash.
The linear rope travel through the steel front braking grooves reduces rope twisting when the partner is dropped. In addition, the descent speed can be precisely regulated by the release lever and brake hand pressure, offering exceptional control even with thin and soft ropes.
Features:
- Belay device with assisted braking.
- Direct attachment to the harness ventral ring for greater control.
- Integrated anti-panic function that locks the device if the lever is over-operated.
- Second braking level for controlled descents of light people.
- Steel front braking grooves for durability and reduced rope twist.
- Allows pinning in the meeting in four different directions (90 steps).
- Identical handling for right-handed and left-handed users.
- Compatible with dynamic ropes from 8.5 to 10.5 mm in diameter.
