The BCA Dozer 2H avalanche shovel is the classic model of Bca in its line of shovels, with a hoe mode to provide greater efficiency when "paddling" the shovel. pieces of debris without lifting them.
All new BCA Dozer shovels feature ovo-concave shafts and low-profile tramplable blades . The front third of the shovel blade provides a smooth surface for clearing snow pit walls during snow stability tests. With the flat stomp edge of BCA on the blade, you can penetrate almost anything adding body weight.
Self-engaging spring pins at the blade/shaft connection make mounting/deployment quicker and hands-free. BCA paddles lay flat in your pack with no protruding ferrule or "neck," leaving more room for other field gear. All BCA extendable shovels are designed to meet the UIAA standard for avalanche rescue shovels.
