The ASTRO harness is designed for rope workers in difficult access areas. Its design is adapted to the characteristics of rope movement and ascent.

The 3D padding and semi-rigid construction of the waist belt and leg loops offer greater comfort in all work phases. Its lockable ventral attachment point allows for optimal installation of the equipment needed for movement. Its integrated CROLL L rope clamp improves efficiency during rope ascents. The waist belt, with its metal side attachment points, equipment loops and tool loops, allows you to organize and transport all the equipment needed for a day's work. Finally, donning and adjustment are simple and practical, even when wearing gloves, thanks to the FAST-closing and DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles.

• Ultra-comfortable construction:
  • The separate shoulder straps limit friction on the neck.
  • Its thin, sliding straps allow greater freedom and ease of movement.
  • All contact areas, shoulder straps, belt and leg loops, with 3D foam padding and breathable fabric, offer greater comfort in suspension and during all work phases.
  • Correct positioning and fastening of the harness on the user are optimal thanks to the semi-rigid belt and leg loops.
  • The metal side attachment points are foldable to prevent them from accidentally catching when not in use.
  • The back of the leg loops is equipped with a Elastic straps (replaceable - available as an accessory) allow for a correct fit, both when walking and when suspended.
  • The dorsal ring connecting the shoulder straps to the waist belt is made of aluminium.
• Optimal integration of equipment thanks to the lockable ventral point:
  • The progression lanyard, PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE, connects directly to the axle without a connector.
  • The CROLL L ventral rope clamp is connected directly to the ventral point for greater efficiency and greater freedom of movement when ascending the rope.
  • Connecting a seat, PODIUM or LITEPOD, directly to the axle allows it to be directly supported by the descender, while ensuring the mobility of the ventral attachment point.
• Practical adjustment:
  • The shoulder straps are equipped, on the left, with a buckle with FAST closure to facilitate putting on and taking off the harness and, on the right, with a buckle with FAST closure to facilitate putting on and taking off the harness. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle with anti-slip system for easy and long-lasting adjustment.
  • The belt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles that can be completed with anti-slip bars (included - not installed).
  • The DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles, made of anodized aluminum, guarantee easy adjustment throughout the entire life of the harness.
  • The leg loops are equipped with FAST buckles for quick opening and closing, even with gloves and without losing adjustment.
• Design that facilitates the transport and organization of equipment:
  • The shoulder straps are equipped with a height-adjustable Velcro strap that can be positioned on the right or left to attach to the ASAP’SORBER energy absorber.
  • Possibility of adding connector holders for fall arrest lanyards on the shoulders (available as an accessory).
  • The belt is equipped with two attachment points
  • It is also equipped with seven pre-formed equipment loops with protective sheath, with two loops for CARITOOL tool holders and INTERFAST connecting element and two loops for TOOLBAG tool bags.
