The Camp Voyager helmet complies with the ISMF regulation that provides for double homologation to the EN 12492 (mountaineering) and EN 1077/B (cross-country skiing) regulations. mountain). To pass the strict tests required by the EN 1077/B standard, the Voyager helmet has a molded structure that combines the advantages of this technology with that of hard-shell: outer shell made of extremely hard and impact-resistant plastic (ABS), interior made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) reinforced with a layer of polycarbonate (PC) to absorb impacts and provide resistance additional.
Comfort is guaranteed by its 17 openings, the breathable base padding and the possibility of replacing it with the anti-sweat foam kit that consists of an upper part, another at the neck (to cover the adjustment wheel ) and a front part (supplied with two different thicknesses, 5 and 10 mm, for maximum customization). The removable earmuffs are attached and detached through side slots.
The exclusive support system for headlamp/goggles with 3 elastic bands (2 on the sides and 1 on the back) allows you to fasten one or the other accessory quickly, even with gloves on and without having to remove your helmet. The Voyager helmet is also equipped with an internal RECCO® reflector which, in the event of an avalanche, accident or loss of orientation, allows mountain rescuers equipped with RECCO® locate the skier (note: this technology is in no way a substitute for the DVA system).
