The Atomic Backland series has always focused on quality, accessible touring equipment for all skiers, and the Backland UL helmet is exactly that. It is safety, comfort and performance in perfect balance.
The helmet comes with a Full Cap Ski liner and a breathable Skimo liner which means it has protection in both mid-winter and summer (the helmet is also certified by multiple rules for skiing, climbing and cycling). The Holocore and AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) provide up to 40% more impact protection than industry safety standards.
In addition, the Hybrid EPP In-Mold shell construction is durable, lightweight and extremely safe, with added PC micro-layers for structural reinforcement without the bulk. And like all Backland helmets, it has small details that make a big difference, such as the front light attachment, removable strap attachment and reflective elements.
