The 70 m Milan 2.0 HUB from Skylotec is an evacuation and rescue device standardized by many companies in the wind sector. It is also very useful in adventure parks and telecommunication antennas, but above all it has a multitude of applications in the field of industrial rescue and is optimized for self-rescue.
With the help of the steering wheel you can lift the injured person, a short distance, to release his safety rope and lower him safely.
Supplied in the Seal Pac container that guarantees its condition and useful life. It is an aluminum box, specially padded and sealed (not watertight) in a controlled atmosphere, thanks to its humidity indicator. It must be checked once a year by a competent person who opens the box and checks the humidity indicator of the packaging. If it is in perfect condition, the inspector closes the metal box again with a seal and fills in the data corresponding to the inspection on the label on the lid of the box. This simplified annual inspection procedure saves time and money as there are no costly transportation routes and therefore no downtime. The useful life of the Seal Pac is 15 years and can be extended for another 15 years after factory replacement of the Milan brake and textile components, within a special resealing process.
